I'm a junior at Virginia Tech double-majoring in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. I got into RF and signal processing through a high school research project and it kind of stuck. Most of my coursework and side projects have gone from there.

Right now I'm interning at Nightwing using an Analog Discovery to characterize an RF chip and building SDR models in MATLAB. Outside of that I'm on VT's AutoBoat team (autonomous sailboats), doing math department research on ML for flow dynamics, and TAing calculus.

Coursework

On the math side, I'm working through Real Analysis to build a more rigorous foundation in the subject. It's changed how I think about a lot of the theory I've touched in signal processing. I've completed Signals and Systems, and I'm planning to take Communication Systems and Digital Signal Processing next.

What I'm looking for

After graduation I want to keep working at the intersection of machine learning and RF. I've been building toward that through my research and internship work, and I'd like to find a role where that's the actual job.
